Class Descriptions

ARMS & ABS This 45-minute class will take you through an upper-body workout using stability balls, dumbbells, body bars and your own body weight. You will love the feeling of a stronger core, and lean, firmer arms.

ASHTANGA YOGA This dynamic workout will take you deeper into the basic poses and adds more advanced poses for the more advanced yoga participant.

CARDIO CORE BLAST This workout not only focuses on the abdominal muscles but also the hip flexors, quads, lower back, glutes and hamstrings for a challenging CORE workout that keeps your heart pumping with bursts of cardio for one sweat drenched session!

CARDIO MADNESS This class format will include brief bouts of high intensity cardiovascular exercise followed by short periods of rest, which is highly effective at burning fat, boosting metabolism, and improving general conditioning. The class will also consist of abdominal work, pushups, and a relaxing and well-deserved stretch.

CIRCUIT BREAKER Imagine the rigors of boot camp. Add music. Then throw in the latest cross-training exercises, weights, bars, and other props, and you've got CIRCUIT BREAKER. This class is the ultimate workout for the cross-trainer and will challenge your agility, speed, strength, and endurance.  

EXTREME X This demanding class is for those who want variety in their workout.  The class format will change every week and could include strengthening exercises or a total cardio blast!

FOREVER FIT Classes These classes are geared toward our 50+ members. Our land classes include Forever FIT- a total body workout including some step aerobics, Forever STRETCH - focusing on a combination of core strength and flexibility, Forever TONE & STRETCH - a combination of yoga and pilates-based toning and sculpting moves using the magic circle and foam roller to help increase your strength and flexibility and Forever YOGA - A full-body Vinyasa Slow Flow Yoga class to help you stretch, relax and rejuvenate. Our water class, Forever Fit AQUA, is a cardiovascular workout in the pool incorporating plyometrics and the water as resistance.  Muscular strength, endurance, and abdominal work are also included.

GROUP KICK® This eclectic 60-minute fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements will kick your cardio fitness to the next level while defining and shaping your body and self-confidence!

GROUP POWER® Your hour of POWER! This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscle groups in an inspiring, motivational group environment.

HI DEF You set the pace as you switch up your workout with weights, balls, and bars. It’s all here along with plenty of timeless moves like push-ups, sit-ups, and old-school calisthenics designed to define, condition, and strengthen all your major muscle groups.

HIP HOP CARDIO Hip hop your way through an hour of high-energy dance set to pop and hip hop tunes. A short warm up will be followed by easy to follow routines to your favorite songs!  Come prepared to dance!

KICK SOME ABS This combination of standing ab exercises derived from kickboxing moves and abdominal work on the floor will provide an incredible workout, all while working on balance and stability.

PILATES Practiced faithfully Pilates will increase lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing. Strength and flexibility (particularly of the abdomen and back muscles) and coordination (both muscular and mental) are key components to the Pilates program.

PLYO POWER® An athletic based cardiovascular legs program that focuses on the precision of sports conditioning exercises. Its unique leveling system is what sets Plyo Power® apart from all other programs and allows a person of any fitness level to find the athlete inside them!

POWER YOGA
A vigorous fitness-based form of yoga that incorporates moves to target increasing strength and flexibility.

RIPPED! A serious cross-training workout incorporating multi-level cardio and strength exercises as a great way to break through a weight-loss plateau and burn a ton of calories!

SCHWINN CYCLE A group experience on specifically designed stationary bikes. Our instructors will guide you through an intense ride, describing hills and simulating the terrain. You have the freedom to make your workout as challenging as you want.

SCHWINN EXP +abs A 45-minute SCHWINN CYCLE class followed by 15 minutes of abs!

TB STRENGTH & LENGTH This high repetition workout will engage not only your big muscle groups, but all the small ones too! It will consist of 30-minutes of strengthening and toning followed by 15-minutes of stretching to promote balance and flexibility.  

TOTAL BODY BLAST Short on time? This express workout will have your whole body feeling stronger in no time!!

TOTAL BODY TRAINING This class starts with a warm-up, and then covers the entire body, working all muscle groups with resistance training using weights, body bars, and stability balls. Remember that a well-toned body burns more calories at rest!

TRIPLE THREAT There’s no better way to get a great workout! This class is high-energy and will strengthen your entire body with upper body sculpting, lower body sculpting and a hardcore abdominal section. Triple Threat offers variations each class to guarantee optimal results for a full body workout.

VINYASA YOGA The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement”. Your teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is also known as Vinyasa Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together.

WATER WORKOUT A cardiovascular workout in the pool incorporating plyometrics and the water as resistance.  Muscular strength, endurance, and abdominal work are also included.  Also part of the Forever Fit program.

ZUMBA® Inspired by traditional cumbia, salsa, samba, and merengue music, Zumba has become one of the fastest-growing, dance-based fitness crazes in the country!  People of all ages have fallen in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body-beautifying benefits…DITCH THE ROUTINE - JOIN THE PARTY!!
